MIDDLEWICH’S MP has backed a House of Commons motion calling for trophy hunting imports to the UK to be banned.
Fiona Bruce signed Early Day Motion 1829, showing support for a ban on imports of animals such as lions, elephants and rhinos.
The motion reads: “[The House] considers that trophy hunting is cruel, immoral, archaic and unjustifiable, and calls on the Government to commit to halting imports of hunting trophies as a matter of urgency.”
