THE Hatton Show is back for another year, boasting a whole host of family-friendly activities.

On September 14, festivities will reach Warrington with a horse show, horticultural show and pet show among the activities on offer.

The Hatton and District Show Society host the annual event which is always held on the second Saturday in September in a field in Daresbury.

There will be a band, Earl of Stamford Morris Dancers, Moore and Daresbury WI refreshments, Walton Lea fruit and vegetables, a craft marquee, forest schools, raffle, tombola, real ale bar and pop up gin and cocktails.

All animals, other than horses, are welcome to join in the fun with their owners by entering the pet show on the day.

Previous entries have included an owl, sheep and Brian the hairless cat who won in 2011.

Facilities available include free on-site parking, first aid and disabled toilets.
