DOG owners from Northwich are being encouraged to take part in the first Woof Mudder next month with their dogs.

The event will see participants tackle a course covered in mud and raising sponsorship money for St Luke’s Hospice in the process.

Organisers are hoping that runners can use their ‘puppy-dog eyes’ to support the hospice, as every penny will help to make a real difference.

Entrants will be sent plenty of top tips on how to raise as much money as possible prior to the events.

The cost for early bird registration is £20 per dog, and this will allow one adult to run with them.

Any additional family members who want to join in can do so for £12.50 each.

Dogs need to be over the age of one to take part and must be on a lead while running in the event.

The entry fee includes access to the event, entertainment, food concessions, a bandana for each dog and a Woof Mudder t-shirt for owners.

Woof Mudder will take place on Sunday, September 22 at Blakemere Craft Centre in Sandiway.

Registration will open at 9.30am, with the first wave will set off at 11am.

Those interested in taking part can sign up here, and questions can be answered by Mark on 01606 555832.
