POLICE have confirmed that the body discovered on Saturday (August 17) in Ellesmere Port is that of missing man Peter Bebbington.
A spokesman said on Friday (August 23): "His family are aware. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."
Mr Bebbington, aged 34, was last seen at his home address in Langley Court, Ellesmere Port at around 5.20am on Sunday, August 11.
A member of the public discovered his body in a wooded area near New Bridge Road in the town shortly before 9.30pm on Saturday.
