ARLEY Hall and Gardens is hosting guided mushroom walks on Sunday, October 20 at 11am and 2pm.
With almost 200 varieties of mushroom at Arley, this is an opportunity to see and hear about the diverse array of multi-coloured growths, in the autumn months, which we know as fungi.
The walks are at a leisurely pace, and are not intended as a food foray, but rather focusing on identifying and building up a knowledge of the fungal world.
Booking is essential, and waterproof clothing and sensible footwear should be worn as the walks are in grass and woodland areas.
The cost is £9 for adults, and for more details call 01565 777353 or visit arleyhallandgardens.com
