A WOMAN aged 40 has died after falling from a block of flats in Ellesmere Port.
Police were called to the scene off Percival Road at around 4.40pm on Sunday (August 11).
A spokesman for Cheshire Constabulary said: "Attempts were made to resuscitate the 40-year-old woman, but she sadly passed away.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
Police in the town had previously taken to social media to alert people that a serious incident had taken place.
They wrote on Facebook: "Officers are responding to reports of a serious incident a block of flats off Percival Road. There will be lots of police activity in the area, but nothing for the wider public to be concerned about."
