SUPERHEROES and villains have been back in the city centre ahead of Chester's annual comic con.
Superman, Thor, Batman, Deadpool and Spider-Man were patrolling the city along with other superheroes and villians and characters from TV and film, including Star Wars and Good Omens.
Chester Comic Con will take place at Chester Racecourse on Sunday, August 18.
Guests from TV, film and comic artists will be there along with feature vehicles, movie props and loads of kids stuff including fairground rides and a dedicated kids zone.
One of the latest guests to be announced is Blackadder star Tim McInnerny.
Chesters Dee 106.3 will also be broadcasting live on the day.
Advance tickets are just £8.50 with kids under 10 free with a paying adult.
Visit chestercomiccon.co.uk for tickets and a full list of what's happening on the day.
In the meantime, look out for more super hero action this weekend in and around the city.
