OVER the past few months in Yester Years we have been sharing your memories of life working at Richmonds.
The gas cooker factory was one of Warrington’s best known employers and was situated close to the Manchester Ship Canal.
This week Julie Millman has shared this fantastic picture of her nan Annie Crank who worked at the famous firm for many years until she retired in the 1980s.
Julie said: “She cycled to work (shifts sometimes starting at 6am) each day from Orford to Latchford.
“She is front left in this group canteen picture.
“Sadly, she is no longer with us but is always in our thoughts.”
Do you know anybody else in the picture or have other memories of Richmonds?
