THERE will be another piece of silverware to show off at Castle after they prevailed in the De-Knoop Cup final.
The Northwich club assumed control during the early stages of a head-to-head with their Nursery counterparts at Swettenham Bowling Club in the Cheshire County Bowling Association knockout.
Their players were victors in three of the first four blocks, including wins to single-figures for Nick Hamman and Carl Treasure, to leave their opponents playing catch-up.
The Stockport-based side clawed back some ground when Darrell Wilbur beat Phil Scott but Castle returned winning cards at the end of the next five games to record an impressive 188-121 success on aggregate.
It means the trophy returns to their club after two years away.
