1874 NORTHWICH made a winning start to their tenure at Barnton when they brushed aside visitors Padiham on Saturday.
Goals in the first-half from Jake Parker and Scott McGowan sandwiched a stunning strike by James Dean for the Storks.
There was little to choose between the teams during the second-half until substitute Harry Cain fired low past goalkeeper Matthew Holmes to make it 3-1.
He was replaced immediately as a precaution after aggravating a slight injury and replacement Lee Knight curled in an eye-catching fourth goal against his former club.
