TRAFFIC will be diverted around the town centre one-way system on Sunday due to a road closure on a main route in Winnington.
Moss Road will be closed from the junction with Cromwell Road to Winnington Lane throughout the day, as Cheshire West and Chester Council carry out work to traffic signals.
A public notice issued by the council reads: “A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes. The closure will come into force on 28th July 2019 and will be in force for a maximum of five days. It is anticipated that the work will last for approximately one day.”
A diversion will be put in place, directing traffic through the town centre to get to the other side of the road closure.
