A CASUALTY suffered slight burns and smoke inhalation after a car caught fire in Winsford.
Firefighters were called to Chirk Place at around 9pm last night.
Crews removed the car from an attached garage and used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
Firefighters were at the scene for 35 minutes.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service confirmed that a rapid response vehicle was sent to a private address on Chirk Place shortly before 9.15pm on Sunday but no further ambulances were required and they did not take anyone to hospital.
