A BIG-HEARTED mum has raised a phenomenal £1,103 for St Luke's Hospice from a coffee and cake afternoon!

The mum-of-two from Winsford had only set a target of £200.

"It was beyond amazing," said Ami, who was overwhelmed with support from the community for Sunday's fundraiser.

"The support we had was out of this world and I couldn't have done it without my family and friends around me."

Winsford mum-of-two Abi Caulfield says she couldn't have raised so much money for St Luke's Hospice without support from her family and friends

Abi received so many donations and offers of help, she had to move her Care for a Cuppa event from her home to Meadow Bank Social Club on School Road.

Local businesses donated raffle prizes and Fancy Feet Theatrical Dance performed.

"Without the generosity of people from the area the day wouldn't have been what it was. Meadow Bank and Fancy Feet were incredible.

"We raised an outstanding amount of money, £1103.98. It blew my original target of £200 out of the water!

"Thank you so much to everyone that supported us in any way.

"Staff at St Luke's work tirelessly every single day and this is just a small token to show my appreciation for such an amazing charity."
