From street food to Space Landings, there is something for everyone at these monthly and one-off events which are mostly in the town centre.

1. FAIRY VILLAGE Warrington Market, Saturday, 10am to 4pm, free

Warrington Guardian:

Around 70 stalls will be available to browse focusing on alternative therapies and wellbeing. There will be free talks, workshops on the likes of yoga and meditation. For younger visitors there is opportunity to make your own wand, meet your fairy guide and join a drumming circle.

2. WARRINGTON RECORD FAIR Warrington Market, Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm

Warrington Guardian:

The event will feature around 20 traders who specialise in a particular field of music such as soul, jazz, funk or rock.

There will be around 20,000 records, including some rarities, costing anything from £1 to hundreds of pounds.

3. YOUNG TRADERS MARKET Warrington Market, July 13, 10am to 4pm

Warrington Guardian:

A platform for young entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 30. Expect everything from art to craft beer. The event is to gear up for National Market Traders' Federation's Young Trader of the Year competition which was last year won by Warrington Market's own Rob Leicester, pictured.

4. MAKERS MARKET Palmyra Square, July 14, 11am to 4pm

Warrington Guardian:

A pop-up market held every month, home to makers, bakers, craftspeople and artisan producers. It has grown in popularity since launching in March 2018

5. WARRINGTON SCI-FI DAY Warrington Market, July 20, 10am to 4pm, free

Warrington Guardian:

A variety of events marking the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Space Landings. Warrington Market is also bringing together its Comic Con contacts for a variety of stalls selling sci-fi, comic, TV and film merchandise, collectables and memorabilia.

6. ARTISAN MARKET Old Riding School, Walton Hall and Gardens, July 21, 11am to 4pm

Warrington Guardian:

The pop-up market has a traditional atmosphere thanks to the refurbished 19th century building it takes place in. There will be more than 50 producers and plenty of street food including pies from Warrington's own To Pie For
