THE A530 King Street at Broken Cross will be closed on Sunday while roadworks are carried out.
According to a public notice by Cheshire West and Chester Council, roadworks will be carried out on Sunday along the A530 which are expected to last for one day.
While the works are being done, the northbound exit (right turn) on the Broken Cross roundabout from the A556 will be closed. The southbound exit will still be open as normal.
A diversion will be in place taking traffic down to the junction with the A559 Manchester Road.
The notice states: “A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes.
“The closure will come into force on June 30 2019, and will be in force for a maximum of five days. It is anticipated that the work will last for approximately one day.”
