TEENAGERS have been praised for their dedication and commitment during a careers work experience placement.

Hebden Green School pupils Will Durston and Ryan Palin learnt lots of new skills after spending time with staff at Weaver Vale Housing Team.

A trust spokesman said: "We would like to say thank you and goodbye to Will and Ryan from Hebden Green School for all their help and efforts over the past few weeks.

"Will and Ryan joined us for a work experience placement and have been absolutely brilliant after spending time with our Open Spaces team. Good luck in the future guys!"

A spokesman for Hebden Green School said: "Ryan and Will would like to thank the Weaver Vale Housing Trust team for the wonderful time they had during their work experience.

"They would particularly like to thank Julia Chambres who organised the programme of work, Stuart who supervised them while they were there and Jane Bellis who went with them rain or shine!"

Hebden Green is an outstanding specialist school for children aged two to 19 who have a broad range of physical disabilities, medical needs and associated learning difficulties.
