ADDING to the excitement of festival week.
That is what's being planned by Ruthin AllStyles Music Club.
On June 27 and as part of Ruthin Festival week, the club will proudly present Virginia Kettle.
The lead singer of the award-winning folk rock band Merry Hell, Virginia will be performing an intimate solo concert in the welcoming atmosphere of the Feathers Inn, Ruthin.
Virginia’s connection with Ruthin AllStyles goes back way beyond her long-established role fronting Merry Hell alongside brother-in-law Andrew Kettle, having played during the club’s early years at the White Horse.
Performing back then as Virginia Barrett, she opened for none other than Kevin Dempsey and Joe Broughton of The Urban Folk Quartet.
She is a prolific songwriter of course, and members look forward to hearing a fine blend of covers and original material, including many of the familiar numbers that Virginia has written for Merry Hell.
Tickets will cost £5 and they are available from www.ruthinallstyles.co.uk
Doors open at 7pm, while the music starts at 7.30pm.
