A MIDDLEWICH barber has moved his shop to the building where he worked as an apprentice in the 1980s.

Razor Sharp opened in 10A Wheelock Street in 2009 but on Saturday, June 1, the shop moved to 23 Wheelock Street, where the owners career started.

Nicholas Woolridge,55, said: “The move has been really good. The building I’m in now is where I worked at in the 1980s. I was an apprentice at Split Endz.

“After my apprenticeship I worked in Crewe for a couple of years before working with the German Armed Forces for 20 years and I then worked in a top barbershop in Fulham Road in London.

“It’s nice to have come full circle. The new shop is great and the customers love it.”

The move was a busy time for Nicholas and he was unable to organise an opening event for the new location.

He said: “I wanted to have a ribbon cutting but unfortunately some of the jobs were getting done last minute.

“I must have filled about three skips during the moving process.”

“I’m not going to do walk-ins now, it’s an entirely appointment-based system and we’re open from Tuesday to Saturday.
