ONE lane of the M6 has been closed on the Thelwall Viaduct after a crash this afternoon, Tuesday.
Lane four is closed and two vehicles are currently stranded.
The accident happened northbound between junction 20 for Lymm and 21 for Woolston.
Congestion is back to junction 19 at Knutsford. Delays of more than 40 minutes are being reported and six miles of congestion.
Traffic officers are on the way to the scene.
