VUE Cheshire Oaks was the place to be for pet lovers on Monday (June 10), as team members at a local pet shop gathered for a screening of The Secret Life of Pets 2.

To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated sequel, local pet professionals from Ellesmere Port-based Imperial Pets visited Vue for a screening of the comedy animation.

The second family-friendly instalment follows the adventures of Max, Chloe, Snowball, Daisy and friends, unveiling just what pets get up to when no one is around.

Claire Owens, director at Imperial Pets, attended the screening and said: “We were so excited to be invited along and the film did not disappoint.

"It is not often that all of our team gets to enjoy an evening out together, especially doing something related to what we love most – pets! Vue Cheshire Oaks made the experience very enjoyable with great seats, amazing sound quality and fantastic service. We all had a great time.”

Brodie Lyons, general manager at Vue Cheshire Oaks, said, “It was great fun to have the teams from Imperial Pets in to see the film on the opening weekend. The atmosphere at the site was exciting and it was lovely to have pet lovers from the community come together to enjoy their common interest.”

The Secret Life of Pets 2 is out now at Vue Cheshire Oaks. Tickets can be booked at www.myvue.com.
