BARGE Inn Booze is bringing the pub to Middlewich residents from midday today until the end of FAB festival.
During the festival, the barge will be open from 9am to 8pm and has a wide variety of alcoholic and soft drinks available.
Wayne Sadler, manager, said: “We were here last year and we really enjoyed it. We’ve only been trading since February 2018 so it has only been going for about a year and a half.
“We were the first pub to operate in a narrow boat and there have been a few others that have been popping up recently.
“We’re from Stoke on Trent and we noticed that a lot of the pubs on the canals were either really expensive or turning into restaurants so we wanted to bring the local pub back to the people.”
Barge Inn Booze has been well received wherever it has gone, with 100 per cent of Trip Advisor reviews rating the pub as ‘excellent’.
The pub will be located underneath the canopy near the Brooks Lane bridge along with Baked on Board and Wendy B's Floating Art Gallery.
