A flood warning has been issued for properties on Station Road in Winsford following prolonged rainfall
A FLOOD warning has been issued for Winsford following prolonged heavy rain.
Homes and businesses on Station Road are being warned that there could be flooding to property from around 9.30am this morning.
The Environment Agency issued the alert following prolonged rainfall which is causing levels on the River Weaver to rise.
A spokesman for the Environment Agency said: "Flooding to property on Station Road, Winsford is expected from around 9:30am. We will continue to monitor the situation through the day and will issue further updates if required."
