BUDDING cooks can learn how to make their favourite takeaway dishes healthy at a six-week course at Holmes Chapel.
The free Fakeaway course is being run by Everybody Sport and Recreation, and takes place at Holmes Chapel Community Centre on Mondays from July 1 to August 5, between 5.30pm and 7pm.
An Everybody spokesman said: “The Fakeaway course gives you the opportunity to learn how to make your favourite takeaway dishes healthy, and eat them without the guilt.
“You will make dishes such as sweet and sour chicken, chicken Balti and pizza.”
All you need for the course is a container to bring your meal home with you.
The course is available to anyone who is a Cheshire East resident, aged 18 and over, who wants to learn to cook from scratch and improve their cookery skills and eating habits.
There are limited places available, and if you are eligible call 01625 383943 or email ebhealthy@everybody.org.uk to book your place. You can also visit everybody.org.uk to watch the cookery courses in action.
