For those thinking of tying the knot in unique surroundings, Chester Zoo is planning a wedding showcase.
The zoo's event is the first since the opening of its newly refurbished and renovated Grade II building, The Oakfield.
The wedding showcase, which takes place on Sunday, June 23, will showcase the zoo’s brand new wedding packages and provide guests with an opportunity to envisage how their special day can be made special in the heart of the zoo, surrounded by 27,000 animals.
And on the day there will also be the opportunity for guests to enter a prize draw where one lucky couple will win a free wedding package at the zoo, including venue hire, catering and drinks.
