Road closure to send traffic through Davenham one day next week
TRAFFIC is expected to be busier than usual through Davenham for one day next week, due to a diversion from a closed junction at Shipbrook Hill.
On Monday, June 10, electrical work to overhead lines will require the closure of the Manor Lane to Davenham Road junction.
The road closure will mean that traffic will be forced to turn left onto Shipbrook Road when coming from Manor Lane, with no access to Davenham Road or Shurlach Lane.
A diversion will be put in place, sending traffic through Davenham village to the Davenham roundabout and onto the A556.
The work is expected to last just one day.
