A HOME builder has invested £35,000 to help improve road safety in Winsford.
Buyers were able to have a look around a selection of homes at Spring Croft on Saturday as Taylor Wimpey North West launched their latest development on Saturday.
Stuart Craig, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “Spring Croft has proven to be a popular choice for families and the successful launch of our second phase shows that there is high demand for quality new-build homes in the area.
"We’re committed to ensuring we have a positive impact on the area. As well as donating and sponsoring local teams, we have invested £25,000 for upgrading local junctions and a further £10,000 to reduce the speed limit on Chester Road from 40mph to 30mph to safeguard the residents of Winsford.”
The developer is offering the government-backed Help to Buy scheme, allowing buyers to secure their new home with a five per cent deposit and a loan of up to 20 per cent.
