Thornton Hall is looking to be crowned with another title at this year's Afternoon Tea of the Year Awards.
In 2018, the hotel won 'Best Tasting Afterrnoon Tea of the Year' and now it is looking to be awarded with another top prize.
Set to travel down to Westminster Boating Base in London, the team will compete against a number of high-profile venues from all over the UK including Claridge's and Fortnum & Mason.
General manager of Thornton Hall, Geoff Dale told the Globe: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Afternoon Tea of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
"It is a huge credit to our team and to be up against many five-star London venues is a great achievement in itself.”
In order to win the prestigious title, the afternoon tea will be judged on all aspects of the experience it offers, from booking to leaving with a strong focus on food, drink and service.
Judging will take place on Friday, June 14.
