A WOMAN has died after an air ambulance was called to the town centre.
Paramedics rushed to a property on Cairo Street at around 5.30pm on Saturday, May 18.
An air ambulance subsequently landed at the Town Hall, while North West Ambulance Service staff also alerted police to the incident.
And Cheshire Police have confirmed that a 24-year-old woman was taken to hospital via ambulance, but later pronounced dead.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious by officers, with police now preparing a file for the coroner.
