AN investigation is underway to find out if a wheelie bin fire could have been caused by an arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Peach Way in Winsford shortly after 10.30pm last night.
A small fire inside a wheelie bin had spread to an electric box near a house.
Crews used used a single hose reel to put out the fire and utilised a thermal imaging camera to ensure the temperature was low enough to prevent reignition.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said:"It's not clear whether this could have been a deliberate act so a fire investigator was requested to attend the following morning."
