PUPILS from Cledford Primary School have been letting their imaginations soar.
Following in the footsteps of Galileo Galilei, Thomas Edison and Elisha Otis, children at the school on George Sixth Avenue have worked together to design and build a whole raft of marvellous machines.
From hot air balloons to roller coasters, pupils combined science, technology, engineering and maths for the schools latest STEM week, the results of which were celebrated in an exhibition.
Year two class teacher Mari Peters said: “It was excellent; a fantastic week of exploration and learning.”
