THERE is a number of road works scheduled in the town during the next two weeks and residents might want to plan their journeys to avoid them.
From Tuesday, May 7 to Tuesday, May 14, delays are to be expected in Sutton Lane near Stallard Way due to repairs to a rotten pole.
There is also work being carried out on Sutton Lane near Hayhurst Avenue until Thursday, May 9
Delays are possible on Pochin Way on May 9, due to works by United Utilities to replace a manhole frame.
Wheelock Street will be closed on May 18 for the Middlewich Mexon Market.
There will be delays on the A54 Holmes Chapel Road on May 19, due to works by BT.
Residents should expect delays on Croxton Lane from May 13 to May 18, due to footpath resurfacing.
