POLICE investigating an alleged stabbing outside a Blacon pub have charged a 29-year-old man.
Ricky Jones, from Earls Port in Chester, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday (April 30).
His case was sent to Chester Crown Court for a hearing on May 28 and he was remanded in custody in the meantime.
The charge of wounding with intent relates to an assault of a man outside the Waggon & Horses on Western Avenue on April 19.
The victim was attacked with a knife resulting in a “serious injury to the neck”, police said. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
