AN investigation has been launched after a passenger spat in the face of a train guard at Warrington Bank Quay.
British Transport Police has released this CCTV image after the incident at 3.20pm on March 26.
A spokesman added: "A guard on board a Transport for Wales service was challenging a man following a ticket dispute.
"The man then left the train at Warrington Bank Quay and when leaving he spat in the face of the guard."

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
