VOLUNTEERS are continuing to spruce up Winsford Town Park.
The next activity session for the Friends of Winsford Town Park is from 10.30am to 1pm tomorrow, Wednesday.
Volunteers are invited to meet at the viewing platform near Dingle Lane.
The group works with professional garden designer Jo Fawcett, the horticulturalist who designed the park's planting scheme.
The friends' chairman John Malam said: "We'll be continuing with routine work in the planted areas , light weeding and general tidying-up.
"The paths may need a sweep with our new brooms kindly donated by Winsford Wilko's. We might have a look at making a start tidying up the woodland area near the Clough Road entrance where there are a lot of branches lying on the ground."
Volunteers are asked to wear appropriate clothing, gloves and footwear.
No experience is necessary.
Hand tools will be provided.
