The cannabis was seized by police
A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after a large stash of cannabis was seized from a car.
The 24-year-old driver, who is from Whiston, was taken into custody on Friday evening following a stop check by officers.
Police pulled over the car on Steley Way, Prescot.
The woman has been arrested on suspicion of drugs supply offences.
A police spokesman said: “Drugs and a number of other items from the vehicle linked to the supply of drugs were seized by officers.”
