THE Fairy Queen for this year’s Middlewich Rose Fete and Children’s festival cannot wait to take part in the days events.
Erin Megson,8 from Wimboldsley Primary School, was selected for the role.
Erin said:” My favourite subjects at school are Art and English.
“In my spare time I like swimming, dancing, singing, drama and craft activities.
“What I am most looking forward to about the Middlewich Rose Fete and Children’s Festival is taking part in the field procession, wearing my fairy wings and being officially crowned.”
The Middlewich Rose Fete and Children’s Festival takes place on Saturday, May 18 from 11am to 4pm.
