CHESHIRE Wildlife Trust is looking to identify land in Northwich and Winsford where they could help manage wildlife.

The trust is asking people who own a piece of land that they would like to manage to for wildlife – but do not currently have the capacity – to come forward.

The Go Wild Get Fit programme, which is up and running in mid Cheshire and soon to launch in Chester and Ellesmere Port, is a 12-week conservation volunteering scheme.

It encourages people to take part in outdoor conservation tasks, but in order to do so the trust needs more wild spaces in which to carry out activities.

If you have anything from paths that need clearing or trees you'd like planting to creating a wildlife garden, the programme can provide volunteers, tools and supervision.

Any materials for the Go Wild Get Fit scheme must be supplied by the landowner.

If you have a space you would like the trust to manage, contact its natural wellbeing manager Katie Greenwood on kgreenwood@cheshirewt.org.uk or 07793249564.
