One fire engine from Winsford attended
Firefighters were called to an open wood fire in Weaver Valley Road at 18.25pm last night.
One fire engine attended from Winsford.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Shortly before 6.30pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the open on Weaver Valley Road in Winsford.
"On arrival the crew discovered that the fire involved wood.
Firefighters used water to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for less than an hour."
