VOLUNTEERS are invited to help put up new bat and bird boxes.
Friends of Winsford Town Park will be carrying out various activities on Wednesday, April 10 from 10.30am to 1pm.
Anyone who wishes to join in will be most welcome.
The group's chairman John Malam said: "We'll be putting up our new bat and bird boxes which have been made by Winsford resident Derek Birbeck working at the Crosshatch Gallery.
"We'd like to give the edges of the paths a tidy-up to sweep back the wood chip which is spilling across them. We're short of yard brooms so do bring one with you if you're coming along."
Volunteers are asked to wear appropriate clothing, gloves and footwear and meet at the viewing platform near Dingle Lane.
Hand tools are provided.
No experience is necessary.
