PLANS for 21 storage units in the land off Telford Way has been approved with conditions by Cheshire East Council.

The units are designed to cater to businesses which are ran from home.

A planning statement said: “There are 21 industrial units proposed on the site.

“The council's head of strategic infrastructure (HSI) advised that given the small nature of the units, the development would only have a minor traffic impact on the local highway network.

“There are no parking spaces proposed, however, the highways officer is satisfied that there is sufficient off-road resting areas for vehicles whilst the business owner load/unload.”

The construction hours of operation will be from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday and from 9am until 2pm on Saturdays with no work being done on Sundays or public holidays.

A planning statement said: “The proposal is compatible with the surrounding development and the design, scale and form of the building would reflect the character of the surrounding area. The proposal would not raise any amenity or highway safety concerns.”
