MILLBROOK roundabout will be closed overnight until the middle of next week as reconstruction work continues.
The roundabout will be shut from 7pm until 5am starting today, including the westbound on and off slip roads.
Southampton City Council says the reconstruction work is "moving rapidly" towards a final completion date of April 7.
During the closure pedestrians and cyclists wanting to cross to the north side of the roundabout will be diverted via the subways on Redbridge Road and Millbrook Road West.
On Wednesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 28, the roundabout will be closed completely from 7pm until 5am the following morning, as well as from Monday, April 1 to Thursday, April 4.
And on Friday, March 29, First Avenue will be shut from 7pm until 5am.
