CHILDREN had fun tackling exciting new challenges on an outdoor adventure programme.

Pupils from year four at the Grange Community Nursery and Primary School in Winsford spent three days on a residential course at Kingswood Colomendy Outdoor Education Centre.

The youngsters took part in bouldering, buggy building, campfires, caving, a 3G swing and even learned how to make their own beds!

The activities were purposely chosen to inspire the children to communicate effectively and problem solve as a team, whilst forging strong relationships and building lasting friendships and memories.

The children were tested to the full, soaring high into the treetops for various climbing activities where many realised their potential and overcame their fears.

The residential reiterated the school’s vision of 'Inspire, Believe,Achieve’.

Executive head teacher Annette Williams said: "We are proud to offer such amazing opportunities to bring learning to life. We are also so lucky to have the most supportive parents who made this experience a reality and fortunate to have the very best staff who happily gave up their time to make this residential trip happen.

"What a fantastic opportunity and great teamwork all round!"

The experience was so rewarding the school has already rebooked for next year.
