THE road into Walton Lea Crematorium was blocked by a fallen tree as severe weather conditions battered the town over the weekend.
A tree lining the route into the crematorium was felled on Sunday morning amid high wind speeds, blocking access for vehicles.

But a spokesman for Warrington Borough Council confirmed that the tree was removed by workers yesterday and that the road has since reopened.
