Police were called to Central Station yesterday evening.
A MAN has been arrested after threatening people with a cricket bat near to Central Station.
Police were called to the scene on Winwick Street shortly after 6pm yesterday, Tuesday, after receiving of a disturbance involving two men and two women.
Officers then located a suspect who had a baseball bat nearby on Central Way.

The 49-year-old man, from Warrington, was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of assault - having allegedly attacked a man and a woman during the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a number of police cars in the area.
