A knifeman was arrested on Bridge Street in the early hours of this morning.
A KNIFEMAN has been arrested after threatening people with the weapon in the town centre.
Police were called to Bridge Street in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, after receiving reports of a male threatening others with a knife.
He was arrested shortly after 3.30am on suspicion of affray and being in possession of a knife in a public place.

The suspect remains in police custody.
