A 27-YEAR-OLD Winsford man has died in hospital following a crash on Chester Lane on Saturday. 

Shortly after 11am, two cars - a red Toyota Yaris and a blue Vauxhall Viva - and a blue motorbike, were involved in a collision on Chester Lane near to the junction with Blakeden Lane.

The rider of the motorbike, a 27-year-old man, was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital with serious injuries. He sadly died in hospital yesterday evening, Sunday, February 24.

The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist police officers.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses of the crash to come forward. 

Sgt Nick Rogers said: “I want to appeal to anyone who hasn’t yet come forward with information to get in touch with us by calling 101 and quoting IML 330276.”
