Crews called out to small rubbish fire
A FIRE in a hedgerow at the weekend involved a small amount of rubbish, firefighters have said.
A crew from Middlewich was called to Fairacre Drive shortly before 10.15pm on Saturday night, February 16.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews were called to a small rubbish fire in a residential street in Middlewich.
"They found the fire in a hedgerow and used a water backpack to extinguish the flames.
"They were there for around 10 minutes."
