KNUTSFORD businesses are working together to stage the town’s first fashion event.

Flash Fashion Knutsford will take place in the town centre on Saturday, May 18.

Flash Fashion Knutsford, which was launched on February 7 by representatives from participating stores, is set to feature models, pop-ups, personal shopping, fantastic discounts and plenty of fizz.

The campaign is gaining momentum on social media, and numerous local businesses have already pledged their support and involvement, including Bare Necessities, Boutique D’Or, Broadbents, CarrotBananaPeach, Chalk, Chic Interiors, Cocoranti, Fat Face, Glamorous, Jaeger, Paris, Roberta Beauty Redefined, Style Loft Boutique, The Edit, Oliver Wild, Verity Plum and Willow, Zapatos.

Harrison Wild of Oliver Wild, one of the event’s lead organisers said: “It’s great to be working alongside other local fashion retailers to create an event that will really put Knutsford on the fashion map.

"I’m already looking forward to the big day and seeing the town buzzing with activity.”

Davina Armitage of Cocaranti said: “We’re excited to be involved with Flash Fashion Knutsford and are working hard behind the scenes to put on an event the whole town will enjoy. There will be plenty of surprises and goodies up for grabs on the day.”

Town centre manager, Sandra Curties, who was present at the event’s launch, said: “This is a great example of collaborative and experiential marketing, with our fashion shops working together to create a great event for fashion lovers and shoppers. We hope residents and visitors alike will take advantage of the day.”

The event is open to other fashion retailers and complimentary businesses. Anyone who would like to join needs to contact Liz Boardman at lizboardmancopywriting@gmail.com
