CHILDREN have been focusing on how to be safe online.
To celebrate Safer Internet Day, pupils at Grange Community Nursery and Primary in Winsford spent a week learning how to be better digital citizens.
Children designed posters, shared ideas in class and assemblies, discussed online usage and ways to support each other with online problems.
Two children from each year group have been appointed as ecadets to support and guide their peers with online safety problems and led the sessions.
The ecadets are an integral part of school life to ensure that everyone feels safe and secure when using the internet.
Executive head teacher Annette Williams said: "Staying safe online is an essential part of modern life. Therefore we have woven internet safety through our curriculum, with the support of our ecadets, so that key messages are being embedded throughout all phases of our school."
