THE Visual Arts Cheshire school art trail is back for a second year, following on from a successful 2018.
Schoolchildren from Years 2 and 4 at 24 schools across Northwich have been working hard on pieces of art to display in shops along Witton Street and at Barons Quay, along the theme of ‘Once Upon a Time’ – children’s literature.
Town mayor Cllr Alison Gerrard launched the display alongside young artists, and work will be on show until March 11.
VAC’s Phil Carswell said: “All the work will go to the Weaver Hall for a special summer exhibition and, at that point, the schools will be given a commemorative book by the Northwich BID.”
